Lord Hileon Bardolph was named Shield of The North by King Eadan II during the Siege, a decade-long war against a horde of the dead led by the necromancer Kariasha, who was defeated at The Battle of Argent Vale in 443 TE. Aldwin Bardolph leads a massive army composed of troops from Whitewind and other towns in the region.
